According to the WSTDA, when using a web tie-down with a winch or ratchet, a minimum of two and a maximum of four wraps of webbing should be wound on the winch or ratchet lever.Excessive wraps may reduce the working load limit (WLL) of the web tie-down and may interfere with proper operation.
